Hi,
I'm Gina, a photographer.
I started with couple's photography and claimed it as my niche for a year or so.
I captured intimate weddings and elopements and expanded to styled shoots and branding content. Fate? found me in the delivery room of a 24-hour health clinic where I witnessed and helped deliver newborns in Haiti.
My mission became:
The meaning of photographs became more meaningful to me.
Photographs freeze & preserve moments - moments that happen so quickly. It's magic getting to capture something so fleeting.
The humanitarian work allowed me bridge work that is being done in Haiti to donors in the States. They get to see through photographs the efforts their donations go towards.
I am a bridge for my everyday clients, too. I’m documenting history. I desire these photographs be passed to future generations in the most meaningful way they can.
I want to:

Dearest Gina,
Haiti, and particularly the ServeHAITI clinic, where everyday people who live and work there are heroes, is a Sacred Space. As much as their stories need to be told, it's always somewhat difficult for me to bring people from the States there for the first time. Exploitation is one of my biggest fears. You came young and wide eyed to this place, and you met people where they were. In the midst of life, death, pain, sorrow and joy, you found a way to capture those moments while upholding your integrity and preserving their dignity.
Your photos are all at once haunting, beautiful, evocative and enlightening. I will always be grateful to you for sharing your gift with us.

It’s hard to put into words just how grateful I am that Gina took my maternity photos- I had a rough pregnancy, so moments that I felt the “pregnancy glow” were rare! I was also worried that with being really far along in my pregnancy, the photos might not turn out how I’d like! Turns out I had absolutely nothing to worry about because Gina’s calm, confident energy and creative eye are next level and my pictures turned out way better than I could have dreamed.
